What is it?
AwesomeRP is a custom mod of DarkRP I've been thinking of making.

What's the difference?
AwesomeRP isn't the usual Cops and Robbers of DarkRP. It's much more realistic. There will be classes like Bankers, Hotel clerks, Hitmen, Undercover cops, the Mob, Ninjas, Gun Dealers, Chefs, Car Dealers, Taxi Drivers, and hopefully the citizen class will play a more important part in the community.

What map will this be based on?
This game mode will be based on the rp_Evocity_v2d_fix map, since it is very big, has many buildings, and realistic cities, camping grounds, and Industries.

If this is going to be realistic RP, what is going to be done about home owning and buying cars?
Everything in AwesomeRP is saved with your account. Your money, if you have a car, (and maybe what type) what buildings/appts. you own, maybe what job you are in, if it is a major job in the community. The first time AwesomeRP runs, all the buildings and rooms will be priced, according to the size, from about $10,000 to $1,000,000. You will have to save up for a house, and when you buy one, it will be saved with your account, probably by us using the forum to write down your names in a thread. When you buy a car, those will be somewhere around $30-40,000. If we download CarMod to the servers, there may be more options. This will save to your account as well.

You mentioned lots of new classes, how will that work? And what about Cops and the Mayor?
Jobs save with your account as well, if it is a major job, like Ninja Elite, Car Dealer, Hitman, Banker, Undercover Cop, Taxi Driver or Hotel Clerk. All these jobs will be given to you by an Admin if you are a good rper. If you are active on the server, sooner or later you will be tested by an admin and an anonymous player. You won't know you are being tested. If you act well to all the scenarios, we will decide what class you could start with. Of course, you don't have to stay that class forever, but you have permission to ask an admin to switch you to the class. Thoron and I are thinking of a way to make a list like the /cp and /mayor list in DarkRP for these classes. Voting for these classes in game will be disabled, as there will be an election on the forums to see who will be our next cop on the list.

When will this be used?
We are going to begin beta testing this mod very soon, without the actual game mode, but trying it out in Dark RP. First we'll start with the Cars idea, then if that works well, going on to classes. If this all works out successfully, Thoron and I will work on the game mode, and give it a test drive. I think this will turn out to be very fun for everyone, and if it doesn't work as planned, we'll move back to RebelRP.

I'm going to start the list for people who buy a car here, it is only $40000 to buy a car, and it is saved to your account. If you don't follow normal driving laws, your car will be taken away. (Running people over, not stopping on red lights, driving on the sidewalk, etc.) WHEN ON RP_DOWNTOWN_V2, NO CARS WILL BE SOLD OR GIVEN AS THE MAP IS TINY!

Prices
Used Jeep - $40,000 (Normal Jeep)
New Jeep - $70,000 (Has Passenger Seat)
Old Jalopy - $85,000 (Normal Hl2 Ep.2 Jalopy)
New Jalopy - $100,000 (Has Passenger Seat)

also what about .. with these rooms like already set out rooms, cost extra .. like livin room ect. and take a while to build as in if u buy one .. then a loadin bar comes up and when is 100% its built ... but this only happens if u BUY a upgrade. also .. ... if u pay 40k for a house .. aint it pointless if u leave and wen u rejoin u have to buy it again or do u get it perm? as in ... theres LOADS of buildin places which u can get.

think u should add more cars =/

the other one .. nt everyone has hl2 e2..

i think u should make cars .. like sport cars, u can find LOADS on garysmod.org

it is a good idea but only 2 car frames .. isnt really good especially if its a jeep


but if theres a car in-between where everyone can see it and theres no error

I've already told Thoron all about my idea, and asked for his approval to test it all out like this. We are going to simulate it in Rebel RP, and if everything moves smoothly, work on the new game mode.

I'm thinking about having Car Mod with Awesome RP, but since we are simulating everything on Rebel RP, we have to work without it for now.

Sounds good, but it could be too much for our quiant little server, maybe with upgradezzz

well we are getting a better host soon, and with this, we might not be a quaint little server anymore.

just do this unbind or unbind all then rebind all your buttons
